She requested a lot of braids with flower elastics. She was so excited to go to school.It reminded me of the time we had Wacky Wednesday in elementary school. My mom straightened wire clothes hangers and braided my long hair around them so that my braids stuck out from my head. I looked like a crazy Pippy Longstocking. I was quite a hit in my class. My classmates talked about my braids for years after that.
