I used Lion Brand Yarn "Lion Wool Prints". I think it's called Autumn Sunset but I'm not sure.
I had enough wool leftover to make a hat. It's the "Easy Upside Down Hat" from the book "Homespun Handknit". It was really easy. I knit it with two needles and seamed it.
My favorite part of the hat is the pom-pom. I had to frog (ie, rip out knitting) a hat I made Charlotte last year to get enough yarn to finish this hat. Don't worry, Charlotte's hat didn't fit her and neither of us liked it. So, since the old hat had been washed, the yarn held it's zig-zaggy waves when I took out the knitting.
