A friend of mine made this sweet pink quilt. She gave it to me to help her sell it. It could also be a wall hanging as it has 2 loops behind at the top.

Its thinner than my usual quilts and the whole thing is quilted. The center piece is a big tree & two rabbits.

Made 2x matching baby pillows & 2x baby bolsters in very pale pink fabric to go with them.

Backing & binding fabric is a matching pink fabric and you can see the quilting here.

All ribboned up and ready to go. Anyone?

Rose's Order

Rose wanted the Sail Boat Quilt for her baby boy. She asked to add some pillows & bolsters. Made matching pillow cases.

Decoupage Box - Lil' Treasures

So here's a lil' box that my friend A did awhile ago.

A dark (almost black) base with English roses & leaves placed randomly.

A nice size to keep anything really - we women always have lil' things that needs nice boxes to store our things :-)

The inside is quite spacious too. A nice gift for a friend.

Measurement : 11" L X 8" W X 2.5" D

How Big are the Tins?

I've had many querries as to how big are my tins ?? So I thought I better take some pictures & measurements of these tins. Its about 13" in Length . . . .

. . . . and about 6" in Height and 7.5" in Width.

What can it fit? A LOT of things really. I've put a tissue box in it to give you an idea of how much space there is left. If I fold my quilt in 3 and roll them up, it would fit nicely in the tins. There is also some space for a couple of baby clothes, mittens, etc.

Pillow Talk

There have been some request so I've decided to make some pillows. Actually make them. From scratch. So I went around looking for kekabu (the fluffy off-white thing in the plastic bag) and bought some 'kain belacu' (the off-white fabric usually used to line a pillow). Found them both and started work.

Sewed the pillow cases up and started filling them with the kekabu. Didn't want them too big or too small, so I made them suitable for newborn (soft and just nice) unless there are requests for bigger ones.

Now for the pillow covers - Nice & bright! These are just a few to start off with.

All these pillows have their quilts to go along with, if anyone so wants :-)

And of course, I made 2 pillow covers for my girls - Maya chose the blue & green stripes and Sara the Colourful Animals. Their pillows are from MAS (Malaysian Airlines) by the way. LOL!
