Remember the fabrics my friend bought for me from Oz? (refer 'fabric galore' posting).Well it had this pink fairies on white and I decided to make the into pinwheels alternating with light polkadot pink fabric.
Made 9 such pinwheel blocks and put a plain sweet-not-too-strong-pink border all around it. Wanted this quilt to be quiet and toned down.
. . . found a pink with white flowers fabric for its backing . . .
. . . and for its border, thought a nice pink flower on white would look just right around it. Finished it off with light pink binding. Nice !
